Dubarry Galway Boots // Etro Pencil Skirt // Barbour Beadnell Jacket // Asos Leather Skirt // Rupert Sanders Suede Boots // Topshop Crop Top // River Island Fur Snood // Finchey Pocket Filofax // River Island Shearling Onesie
I am aware that an Etro pencil skirt and Rupert Sanderson boots are out of Santa’s price range.. but a girl sure can dream. I love how there are always so many beautiful things in the shops in December, and how a huge amount of advertisements fuels us impressionable shoppers with lust for all these bright and shiny things. One thing that I really love coming up to Chirstmas is how so many magazine’s and blogs do gift idea features. I love when they have quirky little finds, a great gift is always something you wouldn’t buy for yourself like little nic-nacs or cosy items that make you feel ‘Christmassy’, like this shearling onesie from River Island.
Anyways, back to Etro and Rupert Sanderson. When I first thought of a December’s Wishlist I knew I wanted fur, leather, luxe fabrics and boots. This velvet skirt is the epitome of festive glamour. Pencil skirts are so classic and I love classic, glamourous styles at Christmas time I have been lusting after a pair of high leg suede heeled boots for quite awhile, and was even thinking I’d love a pair in a dark grey. These Rupert Sanderson boots are perfect but, sadly, they are nearly a thousand euro. As such, they are the perfect Wishlist candidates! If anyone loves Serena Van Der Woodsen’s style on Gossip Girl, they’ll love these.
I love Barbour wax jackets and have wanted one for years, they are pricey but they’ll last forever. What reminded me of Barbour was these boots from Dubarry. The style is named ‘Galway’ (where I’m from) so I think it’s just a sign I have to have them! I had never realised how much amazing pieces they had until recently, including a great collection of jackets.
I also found a burgundy leather skirt on Asos after searching for one, I wanted a very simple one. This Topshop lace panel crop top is perfect for the festive season and this fur snood is the perfect Winter accessory. And lastly, a leather Filofax, in Christmassy shade of course.
