Skirt, Asos // Tshirt, Topshop // Shoes, Jeffrey Campbell // Bag, Topshop // Watch, Michael Kors // Spiked Bracelet, Ebay // Leather and Chain Bracelet, Warehouse
I adore Oxblood/Burgundy, I adore leather.. see where I’m going here? I love my new oxblood leather mini skirt from Asos! If you follow my Facebook page you may have seen me post an Alexander Wang oxblood leather skirt way back in early December, raising the question of whether or not Santa can make Wang of course. That month this Asos replica appeared in my December Wishlist, and now my wish is in my wardrobe. It’s my favourite piece at the moment and wore it for the first time on Saturday on a night out with friends.
If you follow me on Instagram you will already know of my adoration of these Jeffrey Campbell ‘Perfect 2’ heels. I ordered them from Free People a couple of weeks ago as they were sold out in the UK, and I was delighted to find that they deliver for free. Likewise, if you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen my accessories from Saturday night also. I kept the accessories quite basic, and for once, I went sans statement necklace! I have been wearing statement necklaces a lot lately but I like how basic this baggy tshirt is and how it looked with the skirt without any distrcting accessories. You may also notice (this is becoming a wishlist nostalgia post) that this leather and gold bracelet is very similar to a Giles and Brother one I posted in my very first Wishlist. My sister, remembering the post, got this more suitably priced one form Warehouse for me for Christmas. To complete the outfit I grabbed my trusty, perfectly-sized-for-nights-out Topshop bag for practicality alone but I actually really like how the navy looks with the Burgundy.
My look is posted on LOOK Magazine’s website, I have been chosen by LOOK as their look of the day as well as being featured on their Facebook a couple of times and in their ‘Top looks of 2012’. You can see this look along with my other outfits here.
