May seems to have flown by, I can’t believe we’re into June already! As always, with every new months comes a reflection of my favourite beauty products from the previous month. Previews of the products I’m using, liking and disliking will usually be on my social channels so be sure to follow me by click to social buttons at the top of the page.
Earlier in the month I visited the Urban Decay counter of Debenhams in Galway to check out some of their products; it was great to get a thorough introductory to all of their products and I really enjoyed trying them out as I loved the Naked Palettes but had otherwise not tried many Urban Decay products. There were quite a few I really liked but this All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray is definitely my favourite. You spritz it over your face to set your makeup and make it last longer. For photoshoots it’s really important to ensure your makeup lasts and looks fresh all day and I’ve used this to set my makeup for two photoshoots in the past few weeks and it really does work, my makeup didn’t budge, even along my T-zone where it sometimes tends to slide off at the end of the day. It will also be great for summer and holidays to keep makeup fresh in the heat.
I also started using Pore Fessional by Benefit primer and really like it. It’s so silky and creates the perfect base for your makeup by minimising your pores. There’s actually a free sample with last month’s Elle Magazine so if you can still get your hands on a copy I’d definitely recommend buying it as you can try it out without having to purchase. I usually go for a nude lip and have quite a few shades, most of which are from Mac as they certainly have the best nudes. The shade Myth is one of my favourites. Uniq One hair treatment is a must-have for for hair routine, I get mine shipped from Boston Belle hairdressers in Athlone Towncentre.
Until next time,
