For some time I have been searching for the perfect pair of flat ankle boots. I certainly have a penchant for ankle boots and, like most girls, black ankle boots are a staple for me. While I have a number of style they all have a heel, now don’t get me wrong I love this style but sometimes I just want to run around all day in flats and not in a heel of any sort. I have found it is difficult to find a pair of really stylish flat ankle boots, that is until now. I found these on Mint Velvet and did not delay adding them to my virtual shopping basket! They’re the perfect style, somewhat western and rustic yet stylish and oh so comfortable. I love the worn in look also. I always think when it comes to shoes especially, the cost really reflects the look and while they are quite affordable, these have that expensive and supreme quality look you want in boots. Mint Velvet also has some lust-worthy heeled ankle boots and over the knee boots, I’ve been swooning over them all!

This season I’m loving big scarves and blanket capes and picked this one up from Asos just last week (I’ve worn it most days already!) It’s so comfortable and can be worn in so many ways. I normally wrap it around for an oversized, messy scarf look but belted it here of a blanket cape style. Another item which I wear very frequently are these black skinny jeans by Tommy Hilfiger. They’re a great fit and really hold their shape even after a few wears. Nothing annoys me more than ‘skinny’ that loosen after one wear so these are big winners in my book.

I’m currently working on a new The List edit so stay tuned for that also.

Until next time,

nuala
