I’m sure most of you have heard of Lyst before, but I’m really interested to know if you use it – let me know in the comments. I’d of course heard of Lyst but I wasn’t in the habit of using it and didn’t really realise how much I’d love it until I started. It’s kind of like a combination of Pinterest in that you can create inspiration boards and save items you love, and it’s like Polyvore in that you can shop a huge variety of brands and stores in one location.
I use Lyst in many ways. Firstly, as a wishlist which you can see above in My Holiday Lyst (view it in full here). I love Lyst for this because I can look for whatever it is I want and then immediately save it. For example, I’m loving the above lace-up metallic sandals so I have saved them for now but I’ll keep shopping around and if I don’t find nicer sandals, I’ll purchase these. It’s perfect for holiday shopping as I’ve a bunch of swimsuits and bikinis saved and will the narrow it down to just a few before purchasing. Sadly, I can’t afford my entire wishlist, or WishLyst rather!
I have my favourite websites which I regularly check the New In sections of but recently I’ve just been logging onto Lyst’s New In page daily and checking them all in one locations, it’s brilliant! I’ve also discovered new brands as well as seeing all the latest and best bits from ASOS, River Island, Missguided etc. I’ve also been lusting over the Chloé page as I’m obsessed with their summer collection and I honestly need a Drew back in my life!
Be sure to let me know if you use Lyst and how you use it in the comments as I’d love to know and you can view or shop my Holiday Lyst here.
Until next time,
