Wearing all Penneys / Primark and Primark’s PS Instant Dark Tan and Simmer Oil

The first product I tried was the gradual tan and I really liked it. I used the gradual tan for a few days coming up to my trip to the Maldives to just give me a light base for the first few days of my holidays. I didn’t want to keep using it as I knew I would get some colour while away and I was thrilled with the fade off from it – I had absolutely no streaks as it faded. It’s incredibly natural however I would like to see a dark version of this as I found it a little light for my liking. Perhaps I needed to use it for more days consecutively. However, I know so many people who find it very hard to find a good tan for paler skin tones so I think this might be perfect for them.

When I go away I don’t like to wear a long-lasting tan however I do love to wear a wash off tan in the evenings to give me a glow for when I’m going out for dinner. My legs are always the last to tan so I find an instant tan is perfect just to give me that glow for the evening and blend my skin tone with my upper body. The PS Instant Dark Tan was perfect for this. I love that I can then wash it off in the morning before going tanning again. I find instant tans much better while away as long-lasting tan are bound to streak after a few days of being in and out of the sea and / or pool. I also use the body oil along my legs, shoulder, collarbone and anywhere else I want to highlight just to give myself more of a glow in the evenings. I would recommend allowing the instant tan to completely dry before getting dressed. I put it on and then do my hair and makeup while allowing it to dry.

I use a high factor on  my face at all times while away so I used the gradual face tan before going to bed for the first few nights of the trip and it gives me a really natural bronzed glow. I also really like the smell of the products which is a huge bonus as some tans can smell really bad – the gradual face tan and the exfoliator smell particularly amazing!

NOTE: I wore SPF under the tan at all times.
