I’ve just arrived home from a spa break at Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa and I’m feeling so relaxed after some R&R. I think January is such a nice time to treat yourself or someone else to a spa break away. My sister and I arrived at Dunboyne early on Saturday to have some lunch before relaxing in the hydrotherapy pool and thermal suites for the afternoon. I loved the spa and pool area and they also had an outdoor jacuzzi which I loved – there’s nothing like relaxing in a hot outdoor jacuzzi on a cold January day! We booked into the hotel’s Ivy Restaurant for dinner Saturday evening and had such a nice meal. The food at the hotel was so good, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We visiting Seoid spa in the morning to enjoy the hydrotherapy pool once again and we had also booked facials for after breakfast. The spa offer Image facials which are my absolute favourite so I was really excited to try one, especially as I felt my skin could do with one after all of the over-indulgence during Christmas. I have to say, the facial was one of the best I’ve had – complete with a head, neck and shoulders massage.
