Festival Style – Regatta

Lightweight waterproof hooded jacket (here) and Mackayla cool weave shirt (here)

It’s the season of beach days, 99’s and festivals. It’s actually been a couple of years since I’ve been to a weekend festival so I’m really excited to be going to Electric Picnic with the best bunch of girls later this summer. When it comes to festival fashion I always aim to look stylish, yet practical and weather appropriate. I feel like there’s nothing less stylish than an outfit that is impracticable and out of place. While some Irish festival-goers might wish to dress like they’re going to Coachella, this isn’t a Californian desert and good quality rain-proof clothing is a must in Ireland. For this reason, I’m very excited to collaborate with Regatta to show you a few pieces I’ll be packing for Electric Picnic. I feel like Regatta is the perfect brand when it comes to festival attire as their pieces are stylish yet practical. I picked up this navy jacket with white detailing and a white striped hood which I love. It’s waterproof and warm yet very lightweight to wear which I feel is perfect. I’ve teamed it with a longline white blouse which goes perfectly with denim shorts. While shopping in Regatta I also picked up this red pack-away rain jacket (below) which comes in a pouch and can be easily packed into your handbag for the day. It’ll be a lifesaver for me as it means I won’t have to be running back to the tent if it rains (and let’s face it, it probably will!)
